Chom Seiam Diseider Ultragotha, Chosen Usher of Undine, is the enigmatic Mistress of Rakes. Answering directly to the high Siol council, she commands the expansive Siol Signal-Intelligance and Special Forces from the forbidden fortress of Bianon Ur (Editors note: one of several surch Siol organisations, she is by no means the highest ranking member, although the one most active near Bydon). Once considered a backwater prison and punishment posting for unwanted and failed Diseiders, until Ultragotha was assigned as commander of its meager garrison for her suspected ties to the fallen Sioseach, and while subordinate of the then Warden-Diseider, gradually developed it into the fearsome reputation it has today. From here, she, along with a few other secretive Diseiders, coordinate infiltration of the Fulcrum and counter-infiltration efforts to protect the Siol. Their most secret assignment, to find the means of killing the Fulcrum Avatara once and for all.
Of the city within that place, outsiders are not allowed entrance beyond the fortified port, its inhabitants are known to be descendants of exiles and prisoners, the unwanted and the damned. Is buildings are thought to be cold and barren, with little in the way of entertainment of amenities. Those who are taken here are said to never leave. Of both these rumours, Ultragotha never speaks, which for most is confirmation enough. Nearby, but always just out of sight, is Plouton, the living moon that heralds death, one of few personal possessions Ultragotha is known to keep.
One of few to bear the three-stiches brand as a Chosen Usher of Undine, the Great Lady of the Deep Abyss, and with exception of Mitradike, exceptionally hard to contact. To be Chosen by Undine, Ultragotha took an oath of Silence and spent a decade in the void, her body torn to shreds in the deep abyss, until Undine finally relented. It is said that Ultragotha has failed only once in the service of Undine, and for that first (and last) failure, her face was taken and replaced with a living mask of what-is-to-be, although it is unclear whom or what did this. As to be expected, her primary ability is with the Abyss, and she has an uncanny knack for navigating the shoals and void pockets between Sheol and Jannat.
Of her demeanor she is known for an exceptional patience, observing her targets for months on end, striking only when it suits her – or avoiding confrontation althogether (a rare trait amongst Siol Diseiders). She keeps a quiet and calculating demeanor, and for the most part stays withdrawn from the rest of society, preferring her work. Not one for ostentatiousness, Ultragotha is always seen wearing her standard Siol field uniform and armor, and although she would never show it, she dislikes being called away from the front.
Together with her equivalent in the Bydon Navy, she is considered one of the twin stars that defends that vital city.
