KWK 205
“The thing could not reasonably be called a blade, or even a zweihänder. It was too big, too thick, too heavy, and much too rough. It was more like a massive chunk of wicked techno-sorcery. Encased by tempered steel, some infernal motor driving a chain of serrated teeth. It wasn’t designed to stab or strike, it was made to cleave, sunder, rip and gore.
Fall where it may, any opponent had no hope of blocking it.”
–The Vehement Maw, notes by Sir Gaherion Lamwell.
So I’ve been reading through this from the beginning in the last few days, and I’m sad to say that at no point was I able to figure out what was happening and why, or where.
Don’t feel discouraged, I wouldn’t go as far as to say it’s a thinkin’ kinda comic, but it’s all there in the pages. Will probably make a little more sense on a reread.
That said, there’s a couple of key revelations left to get the full picture, so your confusion-sensation isn’t far from the mark.
Just remember, most characters are ill informed and/or liars!
